My professor said stocks should bring in an average of 10% a year (just an estimate). Very risky and unrealistic, but you’re talking about getting 100 billion dollars in 5 years. Solution two- Start your own business It is possible to become a multi-billionaire. I would assume it takes a lot of determination, persistence, endless exhausting work, and total and complete dedication. Anything short will not get you there. Start a business. Any business. Start improving. Devote 100%. Be frugal because you have to remember that money is your goal. Spending on senseless things is counter productive. You will not have any money for fun over the five years. Re invest every profit you get, less the necessary expenses such as food and water, etc…, into the business.  Solution three- Go Pro Write some books. Paint some pictures. Train for being a pro athlete. If you like fighting, start training and fighting through underground networks. Try to get on game shows like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader etc… Try to explode your inner potential.  Solution 4- Hybrid Whatever you do, don’t waste time. Although time can sometimes be your friend, this situation makes it your enemy. 5 years is a very short time. Don’t waste one second of it. While starting your business, multi task, but don’t lose optimality. If business is slow, play on the stock market from the time the clock tick 9:00 am on Wall Street to the time it tick 4:00. Never waste a time. Big money calls for big risks. If you have to, make the risks. If you don’t feel right, don’t risk it. Be smart and be quick because time is money. While you’re at your business on the weekends, instead of playing on the market, train for going pro. Write your book, or hit the bags. Dig deep, find yourself, and take on the world. If you start your own business, look at it from a micro and macro scale. Look at where you can improve cash flow without affecting activity, then take that saved cash and spend it somewhere more useful, or save for something critical for your business. Teach yourself a little about everything that affects business (marketing, finance, statistics, economics, management, accounting, sociology/geography, politics, and psychology). “Knowledge is power”- Sir Francis Bacon. Use it to your advantage. But knowledge can only be helpful if you do something with it. Remember weighing street smarts and book smarts. Never settle for average. Average is your rival. You want to become an outlier. Nothing is impossible  but impossibility itself.  This takes a lot of time and devotion. When you take on the world and time, the most important things you can possibly have is vision, motivation and self discipline. I felt hesitant adding this in because if I have to tell you to be motivated, and you’re not already, your probably going to be burned out by the next few months. You also need to be self disciplined. Keep that razor edged focus in your mind, ready at a split second’s notice. Keep your mind on your goal,  and never look away. Look away for one second and you lose that motivation. That stare that you have, that vision, is a very crucial part to this goal of yours. Picture the goal. Picture where you are. Now envision that path you are going to take from here to there, from point A to point B. Odds are, it’s not going to be a single straight path to 100 billion. There are going to be twists and turns, dead ends, and detours that you will need to watch out for. Be ready for them. Envision everything. Envision success. Envision failure. “You have nothing to fear but fear itself”- FDR. And if you fail, if you truly are motivated, you will pick yourself up and keep going. – Good Luck 3.7k Views · View Upvoters Upvote· 89 Share    Comment… RecommendedAll Promoted by State Bank of India What are the service charges for having a savings account in SBI?   State Bank of India (SBI), Instantly new, yet instantly recognizable.
